As one of Ontario's premier wedding photographers, I provide creative wedding photography to couples who wish to have the events of their special day, captured and documented in a unique way. My wedding couples prefer wedding photography that has a natural and relaxed feel to the images, not the endless number of staged formal portraits with forced smiles and poses that have been used over and over again with every couple - as seen in the work of many photographers.
All wedding events are documented by me (Rob) and are photographed using a finely tuned blend of candid wedding photography, fashion photography, as well as a photojournalistic shooting style that results in precisely captured photos of key moments. Only a minimal amount of time is spent on photographing essential formal portraits of the bride and groom, bridal party and parents of the couple. You will value the way that I cover the wedding day from the sidelines for the most part, do not control and manipulate the people involved in the photographs, and do not have my say on the way things will proceed throughout the day. After all - it is your day. You as a couple planned it, and you should enjoy that day without your photographer dictating the timing and events of your day.
I love to watch for potentially great moments to photograph and will wait patiently in anticipation of the peak of action, when I engage the shutter with my lightning fast and highly trained trigger finger - capturing unbelievable moments that can never be duplicated. You can also count on many pictures in your final selection of images, that include laughter, crying, hugging, tender moments of affection and love, as well as many other emotions. All parts of the day are photographed with realism as they unfold.
During the course of the wedding day consideration is given to photographic content that will work well as artistic imagery, as well as effectively telling your story through the pictures taken. As the bridal couple, you will be provided with a tremendous variety of content and visual experience as well as a large number of unique images (without duplication) that stand on their own, or work in groupings of images with supporting content. Also taken into consideration while shooting is whether the subject matter, dynamic composition, and framing will provide for a variety of print treatments such as vibrant color, black and white, sepia, or any other artistic process that I may use to produce a versatile final selection for you to choose from.
Professional printmaking and artistic wedding album creation, go hand in hand with professional photography. My artistic vision is also expressed in the final selection of previews that I provide you for making your print and album choices. Your selection of images, will be creatively incorporated into modern wedding story books that are fresh and exciting to look at - and that bring a WOW factor to all whom you share the viewing experience with. Individual prints for displaying around your home or for the homes of family and friends, are produced to a high standard, in-house.
